Character Portrait (optional):
Character name: Dante Accetta
Character age: 25
Physical description: Looks to be straight off of the farms of Harmstead with short black hair and blue eyes with well tanned skin. He appears slightly younger than he actually is and prefers to stay clean shaven. A lean but strong build at a pretty average height. His hands have callouses and a few scars from years of working with metal and tools.
Notable personality traits or skills: Exceptional mechanical engineering and repair skills. A fair amount of experience blacksmithing and working metal. Fair knowledge of agricultural practices and techniques.
A fairly quiet demeanor with a low tolerance for people. Loves to tinker, puzzle and spend time alone dreaming up mechanical solutions to problems.
Where is your character coming from?: He grew up in Kanton Harmstead, working on his family's farm raising both livestock and crops. At an early age he showed an affinity for machinery, and spent many days helping his father repair and maintain the still fairly new steam tractors and other implements. As he learned more his skills became known and many of the neighbors would call him to repair their machines, he ended up spending much of his time away from the family farm, moving all around the country and making fairly good money as a traveling mechanic. Several years of freelance work earned him a reputation, and he was called to hire on with a large engineering conglomerate in the capital. He took the job and was moved into the lavish housing afforded by the company in Bellmount.
How did your character find themselves in jail awaiting trial?: Life in Bellmount was foreign to him, and although the pay was good, he often butted heads with the locals, and was looked down upon for his much simpler tastes in clothing, food, and such. After an altercation with several of the engineers he ended up getting fired by the company. Without an income and a company to back him, he was very quickly labeled as unfit for living in Bellmount and was dragged away, labeled as a vagrant, A crime taken most seriously in the extravagant capital city.
