Character name: Radora

Character age: 35

Physical description of your character: Mobile, agile, hostile.

Dark skin, accustomed to dirt, blood, and grime. A hermit who is unused to social norms and possibly raised completely out of public eye. Her ways are her own and few have attempted to bridge the gap. Visually, she does seem to adhere to some traditions, suggesting she isn't completely feral. She wears her hair in dreads, and has pierced her ears in several places, though any adornments have been removed since her incarceration.

Notable personality traits or skills: Radora is a Malcovian woman raised in isolation in Myrefall. A hermit, along with those who brought her to the foreign land, she learned and became used to self reliance. Isolation from both cultures led her ilk to developing peculiarities in their dialect.

Where is your character coming from? (write a short paragraph about your character’s background before jail): Rumors long persisted of a dark skinned witch living in the bogs outside of Barrowfield. Superstitions seeded in those who would give them root that this woman could cure ailments, bring about curses, and guide you safely through the marshes. She and her kind lived in an old mud hut, they say, and had little tolerance for outsiders, spitting words in a language none knew.

Finally, a group of foolhardy youth found their way out into the bog to dismiss the tales once and for all. The hut was found, and in it, the skeletal remains of two humans, alongside signs that the hut was still inhabited. Barrowfield authority was mustered and returned to the site, laying in wait for what may come. They apprehended a young woman, surprising her with force. They detailed her speaking in tongues unfamiliar to them, binding and gagging her as she attempted to bite and fight off her abductors. The hut was alit, burning the grisly scene within, and those who followed in the faith said some words for the victims.

How did your character find themselves in jail awaiting trial? (Please write a few short paragraphs describing what poor luck brought your character to this point in their life): My character is awaiting trial for murder. What initially was planned to be old country justice, suddenly shifted to transporting her to Black Keep for fair trial - due solely to the chance passing by of a visiting Magistrate.
