Where is your character coming from? (write a short paragraph about your character’s background before jail):
Sorren Atrasio was born amidst the towering pines and verdant underbrush of Graedon, a rugged land known for its deep forests and rich tapestry of wildlife. From a young age, he was entranced by the whispers of the trees, the rustling of the leaves, and the calls of unseen creatures hidden within the rich, loamy soil. Graedon was not just a home; it was a place that taught Sorren the language of nature, the importance of balance, and the power of selflessness.
Growing up in a modest homestead on the edge of a bustling village near Graedon, Sorren learned the virtues of hard work from his family, who were humble farmers and herbalists. His parents were beloved not just for their crops but also for their willingness to aid those in need, whether through healing with herbs or offering aid during the harsh winters. Influenced by his upbringing, Sorren believed deeply in helping all those in need, which would later become a guiding principle in his life.
As a child, Sorren spent countless hours exploring the vast forests that surrounded his home, developing a fascination for the flora and fauna that inhabited them. He became wise to the ways of the wild, learning to navigate through the dense foliage and to read the signs left by creatures both mundane and mystical. The older scouts and hunters in the village became unwitting mentors to him, and he often joined them on expeditions to track game or retrieve
lost items for townsfolk.
His kind nature did not go unnoticed, and in his teenage years, he began to embark on small quests—fetching medicine for sick children, rescuing lost animals, or fending off predators that threatened nearby farms. Sorren did not seek fame or fortune; he acted instead from a sense of duty to protect and preserve the harmony of Graedon. However, news of his feats began to spread, and he quickly gained a reputation as a protector of the nearby inhabitants.
When Sorren came of age, the village was afflicted by a devastating blight: panic swept through as crops failed, and rumors of dark omens in the woods began to circulate. It was here that Sorren made a critical decision—he set out on a journey to uncover the source of the corruption threatening his homeland.
Though filled with angst, he heeded the call of his guardianship, believing that if strangers in need were to seek compassion, then he too could extend his hand in the broader world, vanquishing the darkness where he found it.
Thus began Sorren Atrasio's life as an adventurer: a noble-hearted adventurer determined to assist those in need, armed not only with his blade and sharp instincts but fortified by a resolute spirit that believes in the goodness of life, the strength of community, and the responsibility we all bear as guardians—of our people, our land, and the very essence of the bonds that unite us all.
Through the woodlands of Graedon, every step Sorren takes leads him closer to understanding that adventure may hold more than the thrill of heroism;it embodies a profound calling, echoing the lessons of his youth— to uplift, protect, and bring hope to those he meets along the way.
How did your character find themselves in jail awaiting trial? (Please write a few short paragraphs describing what
