Do you have any experience with UO RP servers?:
Yes I used to play on Role-playing servers.

Are you 18 years or older?:
Yes.

Have you read our rules?:
Yes.

Character Portrait (optional):
Image
Character name:
Zelante Valoris

Character age:
26+

Physical description of your character:
Zelante is of striking, dignified presence, standing at an average height with a lean yet athletic build. His skin is a rich, pale colour, contrasting sharply with his sharply tailored clothing. His average length, loose flying hair is dark black, often styled in a way that exudes both sophistication and practicality. A well-shaved stubble outlines his angular jawline, adding an air of maturity to his youthful face. His dark eyes are piercing and observant, always scanning his surroundings with calculated precision. He carries himself with a poised, confident stance that speaks to his noble upbringing.

Notable personality traits or skills:
While not a master swordsman or knight, possesses a solid foundation in the art of combat due to his noble upbringing. His training, while not as rigorous or extensive as that of a seasoned warrior, has equipped him with the basics necessary for self-defense and participating in formal duels.

While Zalente can hold his own in a casual skirmish or during a tournament, he is still far from a fully trained knight. His swordsmanship and combat skills are those of an amateur, with room for improvement.

Where is your character coming from? (write a short paragraph about your character’s background before jail):
From the far-reaches of Townsend, his family name has a small ownership of lands and properties. It was inherited from many generations back and most had done their best in keeping the family wealth in hand..
As a young noble, Zalente was assigned to serve as a squire under the tutelage of a seasoned knight, Sir Garrick Vaelthorn, of The Red Hand. His time as a squire was a blend of rigorous training, discipline, and firsthand exposure to the life of a knight.

During this period, Zalente’s days were spent training in the basics of swordsmanship, learning the intricacies of mounted combat, and becoming familiar with the heavy armor and weapons of the knightly order.

How did your character find themselves in jail awaiting trial? (Please write a few short paragraphs describing what poor luck brought your character to this point in their life):

In a brutal and devastating battle, Sir Garrick was slain, leaving Zalente alone on the field and unfinished in his Knight training. The loss of his mentor and the only figure of stability in his life shattered the young squire’s world. His name became tied to rumors of dishonorable acts during the battle, and despite his protests, he was accused of cowardice and betrayal.

As punishment for his supposed crimes, Zalente was wrongfully sentenced to the labor camps of the Black Keep. Thrown into chains, he was placed aboard a massive ship bound for the notorious prison. The journey was harrowing, with a ship full of prisoners, many of whom had little hope left. Amid the storm and chaos that followed, Zalente’s mind raced, torn between his shattered past and the uncertain future awaiting him in the Black Keep.
