Do you have any experience with UO RP servers?: Plenty. UO RP is something that keeps pulling me back time and time again, as it is something special that no other platform can offer…
Are you 18 years or older?: Yes
Have you read our rules?: Yes
Character Portrait (optional):
Character name: Lymrith O’Ciaran
Character age: 23
Physical description of your character: Orange slitted eyes, black hair with white tips and (extremely) pale skin. Wiry figure but still well developed where it counts.
Notable personality traits or skills: Clever, resourceful, vain.
Where is your character coming from? (write a short paragraph about your character’s background before jail):
She had always been strange. Some feared her saying that witnessing her is an ill omen, some tried to kill her and some… were curious, lured in by the exotic creature with strange eyes, which some speculate was due to an experiment gone wrong or that she was cursed by Osien.
She grew up as an orphan in Barrowfield, amongst the other downtrodden and poor of Myrefall, making her living by stealing, lying and spying. As a child, she kept to the shadows, always on the move, never able to have a peaceful night as there were many that would like to capture and sell her off or worse. So she hid and looked for opportunities to turn her life around. Always dreaming of something better, no matter the cost.
As she got older, she started to attract more attention from local businesses. However, she had managed to gather a small group to protect herself - other orphans who shared her dream for a better life. They watched over each other and made a little bit of a name for themselves, for what it was worth, amongst the thieves and criminals. At least it made most people second guess trying to catch and sell one of them.
Eventually they were able to make their way out of Barrowfield and into the port town of Mist. For here would be where they would make their dreams come true. Here would be where they found a way to get off the islands… She had heard that a noble had arrived at the harbour to stock on supplies, and they would be leaving soon once more.
And so they decided. This would be their way out.
They planned to sneak aboard the ship under cover of the night and then once out of the docks to attack and imprison the crew on board- Especially the noble, who would be worth a lot of money for the right people.
How did your character find themselves in jail awaiting trial? (Please write a few short paragraphs describing what poor luck brought your character to this point in their life):
She attempted to capture a noble's ship, the Golden Swan, which had arrived at the Mist. This was her way out from the poverty she was in and a chance for a new life! Taking the identity of the noble that had foolishly gotten to the Lost isle.
Unfortunately, she underestimated the onboard security and soon found herself and her gang captured and chained, waiting to be taken to the court and judged and most likely sent off to the Black Keep.
Still, life has a weird way of turning things around- Literally, as she suddenly found herself flying across the cage she was in, as the ship got capsized by a storm that appeared out of nowhere.
She didn’t know how long she was unconscious but when she awoke, she thought she had died and gone to heaven for… she could see the sky… and the stars as they twinkled with such beauty, beckoning to her.
However, her empty stomach and the chafing shackles brought her back to reality. Quickly sitting up, she proceeded to try and get free from the shackles, not wanting to be caught again…
The only survivor…
