Where is your character coming from? (write a short paragraph about your character’s background before jail):
Only daughter of a noble family from Warsend. Her father was a high ranking officer in Stonewall military. Her mother came from Kallvort. She also has 2 older brothers. Since she was a noble she got access to education early in her life and also got opportunity to travel to Kallvort while she was young. Coming from a military family meant even for a girl she was accustomed to fighting, mostly because of her two brother non-stop hard play and harassments in her child days.
In her teen thought, her parent tried to take her in a different direction more focused on learning academic and social skill for her future. This didn't go as well as they hoped it would. Freya still occasionally hanging with her brothers left a un-desirable troublemaking side to her that her parent wished they could quell.
How did your character find themselves in jail awaiting trial? (Please write a few short paragraphs describing what poor luck brought your character to this point in their life):
Her parents had plan for her... forced marriage for political gains. This didn't go well... Freya didn't cooperate at all. She planned to make a run for it before the dreaded day happened. Her father found out and went to confront her... This ended in bloodshed... her father surviving only because one of her brother intervened.
Rumors when out about what happened and the groom family cancelled the marriage... Her father trying to save face, ordered her arrested for murder attempt. Luckily or not... she barely escaped the death penalty and was instead sent off for the dreaded Black Keep.
