Character name: Silke Nightshade
Character age: 26
Physical description of your character:
young slender woman who smells of dirt and herbs. Her hands are usually covered in dirt. She has tints of green in her hair due to her constant use of plants. She stands about 5"6 and weights around 104lbs
Notable personality traits or skills:
Silke is ambitious and a learning alchemist. She can be skittish towards new people due to how she was brought up and is hard to trust others.
Where is your character coming from? (write a short paragraph about your character’s background before jail):
Silke grew up on the streets for as long as she has known. Her earliest memories are starving, freezing, on the side of the road in town watching people walk by completely ignoring her as she was slowly dying from hunger and the cold. The faithful day Silke was ready to succumb a slightly older child came to her rescue, offering food and a warmer place to stay. It wasn't much but it was enough to keep Silke alive, the two grew up together taking care of one another doing odd jobs, stealing from merchants, whatever it took to keep themselves fed. As time went by they found themselves doing more daring things looking for more gold to survive. Silke never enjoyed stealing from others and was always worried about being caught.
That leads on for awhile until today, today they decided today is the day, Silkes sister decided today she is going to make enough gold to live a luxury of life. She never did reveal how, but told Silke to be ready to leave. Hours went by. And hours more. The cities alarm bells start going off and guards screaming outside. Silke Curious about the commination heads outside from their hideout only to find a large crowd just shy where they live. She peers through the crowd to see her sister lying on the ground bleeding out from puncture wounds from the guards spears. Silke ran into the nearest alchemy store, rushing inside stealing a bunch of ingredients as fast as she could and starts mixing to make a potion. The storekeeper tells about a thief as the guards rush over, Silke throws the mixture at her sister, unaware of if it will work or not. It was then Silke threw her hands up in surrender.
How did your character find themselves in jail awaiting trial? (Please write a few short paragraphs describing what poor luck brought your character to this point in their life):
After the events of stealing alchemy ingredients she surrendered to the guards. Being dragged through town to be placed on trial. Silke knew what she did was wrong, but she couldn't just let her sister die without trying. As Silke was being dragged to her jail cell, the only thing she could think of was the safety of her sister. Did she make it? Did she die? What happened? These thoughts crowded Silkes mind. Her mind was riddled with what ifs, enough where she had no clue where she was, or what was happening. Her bruises didn't hurt, her beaten body did not feel a thing. This is where Silkes new story begins.
